Since commencing operations on 23^rd June 2003, the company has primarily served the Rwandan market and has built a strong reputation as a private biscuit manufacturer. We produce unique, high-quality biscuits that cater to people of all ages and remain committed to delighting our customers with affordable products across Rwanda and the East African region.

Our head office is located in the Kigali Special Economic Zone (G2), and we currently employ approximately 520 staff.

Position Objective:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Quality ControllerQ to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards throughout the production process. This includes inspecting raw materials, monitoring production activities, conducting quality checks on finished products, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high product quality while supporting continuous improvement.

Job Summary:

The Quality Controller will ensure that all products meet company quality standards by inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and verifying finished products for compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials before production to ensure they meet required standards
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and quality
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Identify and report any defects or deviations in production
• Maintain accurate quality control records and reports
• Work with the production team to resolve quality issues
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling standards are followed
• Support continuous improvement of product quality processes

Qualifications & Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or related field
• Previous experience in quality control or food manufacturing is an advantage
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High level of responsibility and integrity
