Job Title:  Quality Controller 
Reports to:  Production Manager
Function Area: Production

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and careful Quality Controller with a strong understanding of industry standards, inspection protocols, and quality assurance methodologies. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting audits, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product integrity and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality of biscuits;
• Ensure standards of our products;
• Handling any quality issues with Rwanda Bureau of Standards;
• Follow up and ensure fulfillment of quality requirements of our products;
• Represent the company in meeting related to quality of our products;
• Supervise and ensure proper cleanliness of the products and company premises;
• Ensure clear instructions and trainings on quality assurance for our products;
• Collaborate with workmates (Technicians, production manager, quality controller, chief of personnel) to work as a team towards ensuring quality of our products.
• Handle any task assigned to him/her by his superior;
• Preparing report about the progress and requirements to the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology/food science.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in quality controlling.
• Additional trainings/certifications in food technology– may be advantageous.
• Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Protecting the quality and standards of products company.
• Full understanding of quality control functions and best practices.
